Operation

CoMBI-S manual type

  1. Connect camera and sensor to the controller box.
  2. Place the sensor unit under the handle.
  3. Expose blockface as a start position.
  4. Turn ON camera controll (Red button).
  5. Turn ON HOLD button. This means half-push of the shutter button on the camera (fix focus).
  6. Capture a scale by pushing "RELEASE" button.
  7. Slice and image blockface serially.

NOTE: Shutter is released when the handle is going back. Thus, move the handle slowly and carefully when going back. At the magnification 1 - 3x, you do not need care about stability. However, at the highest magnification (5x), blur-free imaging is possible, but very careful manual operation is required.
